Mike Grey

Mike Grey is an award-winning journalist, screenwriter, and film producer whose credits include the China Syndrome, a movie that eerily prophesied the nuclear accident at Three Mile Island, which occurred two weeks after the film's release, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The author of The Accident, an extensive documentation and analysis of the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, and Angle of Attack: Harrison Storms and the Race to the Moon, a history of the Apollo program, Grey is now focusing on the Drug War and its failures. After six years of research and writing, he published Drug Crazy: How We Got Into This Mess and How We can Get Out, an extensive yet concise history and critique of U.S. drug policy. Published in 1998 by Random House, Drug Crazy is available through bookstores oramazon.com.

As a speaker, Mr. Grey addresses all aspects of the Drug War, including the history of its development. He is, however, most interested in exposing the racism exhibited by Drug Warriors, and in addressing the need for the black middle class to speak out against the Drug War.
